24 Things I’ve Learned in 24 Years.

Since today is my 24th birthday, I thought I would share my reflections on the lessons I’ve learned so far in life.
- If you want something, only you have the power to go out and get it. Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard, and opportunities do not guarantee success.
- Compassion is essential, but keep your guard up.
- Discovering your passion takes time. Allow it to grow at its own pace, and don’t choose a certain path simply because someone else wants you to.
- There are three sides to every story: His side, Her side and the Truth.
- Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. Don’t believe anything you read on Facebook.
- Reading is one of the most important things you can do to further your intelligence and your understanding of life.
- Put your phone down. Life is happening right in front of you and you’re missing it.
- You don’t have to be a party animal to have a satisfying and rewarding social life.
- You are stronger than you think.
- Musicians and creative people are not inferior to Doctors, Lawyers and Engineers.
- If a partner wants you to change for their own convenience, run away. Find a partner that wants to see…
